Special Educational Needs Support
Welcome to the Kinder Park Nursery Special Educational Needs Support Page. Here you will find a little bit of information about Kinder Park Nursery's approach to SEND.
At Kinder Park Nursery we have high aspirations for all our children and support them to achieve to their full potential. Our special educational needs co-ordinators, Lucy and Rebecca are advocates for all our children and support parents and children throughout the SEN process.
The definition for a child having SEND is if your child needs specialist provision to be made for him or her.
If we identify your child as having a special educational need this may be linked to their speech, social skills, physical skills or cognitive skills. We will provide parents and children with the relevant support and refer children and families to the relevant agencies depending on the special educational need identified. These referrals will of course only be completed with the parent's permission. Parent partnership is at the heart of everything we do and is the core to ensuring children's needs are met effectively.
