We are a 50 place nursery caring for children from 6 months to school age. We are situated in two large Victorian town houses which have been carefully and thoughtfully converted into one spacious building in Carlisle and we are only a 10 minute walk from the city centre.
The nursery day starts at 8.00 a.m. and finishes at 5.30 p.m. for fifty weeks of the year closing for two weeks over Christmas and New Year and Bank Holidays.
We are registered with Ofsted (Registration Number EY485777) and we were delighted to receive our 4th consecutive ‘Outstanding’ inspection in July 2022 (follow this link to view our inspection report), we are active members of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA).
We are registered to accept Nursery Education Grants, for 2, 3 & 4 year olds. (follow this link to find out if your child is eligible for free childcare for 2 year olds).
A statutory framework for learning, development and care for children from birth to five is followed - “The Early Years Foundation Stage” (E.Y.F.S.). The aim is to help young children achieve the Every Child Matters outcomes of Staying Safe, Be Healthy, Enjoying and Achieving, Making a Positive Contribution and Achieve Economic Well-Being.
